Terms of Use

Last updated October 24, 2026

The short version

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are an agreement between you and TesKit ("TesKit", "we", "us") about the TesKit app for iPhone and the website at teskit.app (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. You sign in with Apple or Google, and you're responsible for keeping that sign-in secure and for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you think someone else is using it.

3. Tesla

TesKit is an independent app. It isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Tesla, Inc. TesKit uses Tesla's developer services under Tesla's terms, and Tesla may change, limit or end them at any time, which can change or stop TesKit's features.

You may connect only a Tesla account that's yours, and only cars that account is permitted to access. Your Tesla account, your cars and Tesla's own app remain subject to Tesla's terms. Adding TesKit's virtual key lets your car send data to TesKit; you can remove it, or TesKit's access to your Tesla account, at any time.

4. Using TesKit responsibly

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Data and alerts

TesKit depends on your car's connection, Tesla's services, Apple's notification service, your phone and our servers. Locations, trips, Sentry activity and other data may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and alerts may arrive late or not at all.

TesKit isn't a security system, theft recovery service or emergency service, and doesn't replace Tesla's own security features. Don't rely on it for anyone's safety or to protect property. In an emergency, contact local authorities.

6. Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Information about you and your cars stays yours. You let us store and process it only to provide the Service to you and to the people you share a car with, as the Privacy Policy describes.

7. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the TesKit app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's Usage Rules allow, and to use the website, for your own non-commercial use.

8. Fees

TesKit may offer paid features. If it does, we'll show the price and terms before you buy, and purchases are made through Apple under Apple's terms. You manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.

9. Changes and ending

We may change, add or remove features, or stop offering the Service, at any time. You can stop using TesKit and delete your account in the app whenever you like. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if the law requires it, or if continuing would create risk for TesKit or others. Sections 10 to 15 continue after your use ends.

10. Ownership

The Service, including the TesKit name, logo, app, website and their content, belongs to TesKit and its licensors and is protected by law. Tesla, Model 3, Model Y, Sentry Mode and related marks belong to Tesla, Inc. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement and accuracy. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that data or alerts will be accurate or delivered.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TesKit won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, or for damage to or loss of a vehicle or property, arising from or related to the Service, even if we were told they were possible. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50.

Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

13. Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against TesKit because of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs from that claim, to the extent the law allows.

14. Apple

If you got the app from the App Store:

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and TesKit consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the place you live.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and will change the date at the top when we do. If a change is material, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

If any part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a part right away doesn't waive it. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and TesKit about the Service.
